Saturday Clinic Confirmed

Hi there –

Jon has confirmed that he is able to do the goalie clinic this Saturday (4/25) at 11 am (Thurgood Marshall).  He is doing this out of the kindness of his heart but I think it would be great if we could kick in a little for him.

Game four was against a very large and very good team from the North. All the girls played hard, and had a good second half.

    I just wanted to give a gentle reminder, if you haven't reimbursed Karin for the spring season costs yet, please do so. Also, the snack schedule is posted on http://www.piratepixies.org . If you can on your snack week, please bring oranges for half time.
    Looking forward to a great game tomorrow. With 6 girls on the field at a time, there's not much resting!

I'm having trouble scheduling the goalie clinic and a regular practice due to everyone's busy schedule.  I'd like to have a quick pow-wow with parents after the game on Sunday.  We have a few weekends without games and could organize something on a Saturday or Sunday, too.

Spring Game 2 - Otters

It was a beautiful day at McGilvra, and the Pirate Pixies played extremely well against another good team in red. Again they were short staffed, and had only one sub so every girl got a good workout.

Hi Pirate Pixie Parents,
     I have just a little more information about Sunday's game:

- I have traditional bargain spring jerseys that I will bring to the game. I won't give away the color, but I think they'd look good with their orange socks...
 
- The snack schedule is now posted on http://www.piratepixies.org There are two games for which we still need snack volunteers, May 10th & May 17th. Please let Kim or I know if you can take one of these games. If you can, please bring oranges for halftime on your snack week.

- If you haven't already, please remember to pay $25 to Karin, who has paid our registration fees for the spring season.
